ALL OUR HOUSES ARE EQUIPPED WITH TRANSPARENT GLASS FIBER ROOF! It is mounted over the wooden roof, so all the beauty of the wood fiber remains visible!
The pigeon aviary “Columba” mating boxes is an elegant pigeon house, very well ventilated. It was designed together with famous pigeon lovers, taking into account their advice and recommendations.
All parts of the columbarium are easy to assemble, they were designed to complement in a unique, practical way, the trademark Garden wood A&S.
Also, the assembly sketch is simple, intuitive and makes the assembly an interactive children’s play.
The interior of this dovecote for pigeons:
-is spacious, it can easily house 20 pigeons on the walls, in the “V” shaped rests that are mounted on the walls.
In the package you will also receive 12 “v” shaped rests made by hand, elegant, made of fir wood with laminated plywood.
Also inside this dovecote, at the bottom, there is an extractable stainless steel drawer. This drawer is used from the outside of the aviary, for easy cleaning.
On the side of the aviary there is a large door, with galvanized lock and aerators with plasticized mesh with small mesh, which prevents rodents from entering.
This door is the access inside the aviary. Remove the cleaning drawer from the outside so as not to step on it, then open the door and you can acces inside for cleaning
On one side are the mating boxes or hatching places. There are 4 of them, two on the upper floor and two on the lower floor. All have access both from the inside of the dovecote through the semi-round doors with lock and from the outside as follows:
– on the lower floor can be accessed from the outside through the two doors located above the drawers. These doors have aesthetic aerial cuts in the shape of a dove.
-on the upper floor can be accessed from outside the aviary by rooting the roof of the speakers which is foldable. In conclusion, the access to the mating and hatching boxes is very easy, both for the pigeons and for the breeder.
Both floors with hatching or mating boxes are equipped with extractive drawers and floor ventilated on which can be placed the hatching bowls, water..etc The cutouts, in the shape of pigeons, are located on the exterior doors but also on the sides of the mating-hatching boxes.
This ensures optimal ventilation, a healthy environment for reproduction. At the same time, the ventilation of the dovecote is very good, the aerators being located in key points to ensure the necessary ventilation.
For this purpose, the aim was to create a dry, healthy environment for the residents of the dovecote: the pigeons. All exterior roofs, large and small, from mating boxes are provided with fiberglass foil and screws with gasket.
For a dry environment, keeping the wood in the best possible condition is a priority for us and you. In the front part of this pigeon aviary above the inscription “COLUMBA”, is attached the flight compartment.
This compartment is provided with green plastic mesh with small mesh, anti-rodent. Also, the roof is with supertransparent “ultraclear” foil. The access of the pigeons in this compartment is made by opening the two doors to the interior of the dovecote.
The doors are opened from the outside, it is not necessary to enter inside the cage, raising the roof of the flight compartment, the one provided with transparent foil.
Also, the release of the pigeons for the flight can be done by folding the main roof of the pigeon house or on the big door. So the flight can be performed on three access ways. On one of the two doors of the flight compartment there is a pvc tube with an elbow at 45 degrees. After the flight by the pigeons, on return, the “trap” hole can be used.
In this way, the pigeons will enter the aviary and will not be able to leave, the user’s comfort and the low level of stress for the pigeons.
This is our number 1 goal. This flight compartment is very important. It has other uses: is the ideal place for the “sunbathing” that helps the natural solar vitaminization of pigeons.
-due to the very good visibility, it helps the pigeons to get acquainted with the environment and to make sure of the possible dangers – the ideal place before the flight.
